Donald Trump showed off his now-famous dance move while grooving to the Village People’s hit song “YMCA.”

The president-elect’s “MAGA Victory” rally — held at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, on the eve of his inauguration — concluded with a performance by the ’70s disco group, whose name refers to Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, which was the birthplace of gay civil rights.

The musical group took the stage on Sunday, with several members shaking hands with the soon-to-be 47th commander-in-chief.

They then launched into their 1978 anthem “YMCA” as Trump, 78, clapped his hands and danced.

The Village People’s performance came as a surprise to many since they sent a cease-and-desist letter to Trump in 2023 after their popular single “Macho Man” was played at a Mar-a-Lago event.

They also endorsed the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.

However, Victor Willis, the only original member of the sextet explained why the band reversed their decision in a Facebook post earlier this month.

“We know this wont [sic] make some of you happy to hear however we believe that music is to be performed without regard to politics,” he wrote.

“Our song YMCA is a global anthem that hopefully helps bring the country together after a tumultuous and divided campaign where our preferred candidate lost,” he continued in a reference to Harris.

“Therefore, we believe it’s now time to bring the country together with music which is why Village People will be performing at various events as part of the 2025 inauguration of Donald J. Trump.”

Other attendees at Sunday’s rally included the president-elect’s sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, as well as Elon Musk who was joined by his son X-Æ-12, whom he calls X.
