KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Investigators on Wednesday seized a gun, methamphetamine and fentanyl after carrying out a search warrant in Kalamazoo Township, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

During an investigation into drug sales, members of the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and Crime Reduction Team executed a warrant on the 3300 block of West Main Street, near Solon Street, KDPS said in a release.

Investigators say they found 1.25 pounds of meth, 1.25 ounces of fentanyl, a gun, drug paraphernalia and presumed profits of drug sales.

The 25-year-old man — who had previously been convicted of felony charges and was not allowed to have a gun — was arrested and jailed on multiple felony charges, according to KDPS. His name was not released Wednesday.
