GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is in the hospital following an early Saturday morning shooting in Grand Rapids.
Around 1 a.m., officers with the Grand Rapids Police Department were sent to Rau’s Party Store, located on Division Avenue S near Burton Street SE, after receiving reports that a man had been shot in the parking lot.
The man was taken to the hospital, GRPD said. His condition has not been released.
No suspect information has been released.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
The shooting remains under investigation.
