Megyn Kelly has a lot of strong opinions about Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s marriage.
The journalist, 54, said she doesn’t think the former president and former first lady are a good match.
“Every word she says about Barack Obama is negative,” Kelly said on her “The Megyn Kelly Show” Friday, referencing comments Michelle, 61, has made about Barack, 63, on her own podcast, “IMO.”
In just the first few episodes of her weekly show, the attorney has said she and the politician don’t agree on when it’s time to go to bed. She also said he’s had issues with being on time.
Kelly reacted in response, “Every time she opines, it’s something that reflects poorly on him.”
The former Fox News host then further slammed remarks Michelle made years ago, in which the mom of two normalized not getting along for a full decade in a marriage.
Michelle said at a panel in 2022, “There are times I’m 70, he’s 30. There are times he’s 60, [I’m] 40.
“But guess what? Ten years — we’ve been married 30 — I would take 10 bad years over 30. It’s just how you look at it.”
Kelly — who divorced physician Daniel Kendall after five years and then married her current husband, Douglas Brunt, in 2008 — said, “I’ve been married for 17 and a half years, and not one was bad.”
The former talk show host concluded of the Obamas, “I think she and he married the wrong people.”
Page Six has reached out to the couple’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Michelle and Barack have recently been plagued by divorce rumors since she missed several important public appearances, including Jimmy Carter’s funeral and President Trump’s inauguration earlier this year.
However, the “Becoming” author addressed all of the negative chatter on Sophia Bush’s “Work In Progress” podcast last week, saying that her recent decisions had nothing to do with her husband.
“That’s the thing that we as women struggle with — disappointing people,” she explained. “So much so, that people — they couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself — that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing.”
On Thursday, Michelle was spotted out in Los Angeles while wearing her wedding ring after shutting down the divorce speculation once and for all.
