GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — You can beat the heat this weekend with any of the awesome events coming to West Michigan.

Grand Rapids Gran Fondo
The Grand Rapids Gran Fondo bike ride returns this Saturday.
Bikers will meet up in front of Van Andel Arena and take on one of the many rides being offered this year. Fundraising efforts raised will be donated to Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.

Grand Rapids Pride Festival
Calder Plaza will be the site for this year’s Grand Rapids Pride Festival.
This is the city’s 36th Pride Festival and it goes from noon to 10 p.m. There will be plenty of things to check out and it’s completely free to attend.

GR Downtown Market Vintage & Handmade Marketplace
This Sunday, you can shop around the Grand Rapids Downtown Market during its Vintage and Handmade Marketplace.
The event will host more than 60 vendors offering their clothing, knickknacks and other items. There will also be a live DJ to offer a soundtrack to your shopping.

Ada Beers at the Bridge
Ada Township is hosting the latest Beers at the Bridge Summer Concert this Friday.
Starting at 6 p.m. at Legacy Park, enjoy several local beers on tap while checking out the musical stylings of the BareNaked 90’s.

Reeds Lake Run
If you’re looking to get your sweat on this weekend, then swing by Reeds Lake for the annual Reeds Lake Run.
The event will include a 10K, a 5K, 1-mile runs and even a 5K Dog Dash for you and your furry friend.

15th annual Meijer State Games of Michigan
All across the state this weekend, athletes will be competing in the 15th annual Meijer State Games of Michigan.
Over 6,000 athletes are expected to take part in the competition of 28 different sports, from basketball to trap shooting.

Berlin Fair 2024
The fun has already started in Marne for the annual Berlin Fair, but there is still time to check it out.
The festival goes through Saturday and will have all of your fair favorites like carnival rides, games and even a demolition derby.

WWE Supershow in Kalamazoo
Wrestling is back in Kalamazoo this weekend at the WWE Supershow Summer Tour makes a stop at the Wings Event Center.
The show kicks off Sunday night and will include some of the biggest wrestlers the WWE has to offer, including current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Adelaide Pointe Powerboat Weekend
This Friday and Saturday, get out on the water with the help of Adelaide Pointe’s Powerboat Weekend.
The two-day event will give guests the chance to test out a few boats on Muskegon Lake. There will also be parties happening in and around the marina.

Relay for Life of Calhoun County
Relay for Life of Calhoun County is taking place this weekend to help raise awareness and funds for cancer survivors and their families.
The event begins Friday at 3 p.m. and doesn’t end until 3 p.m. Saturday. Participants will commute around the track at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds.
