GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The end of the month doesn’t mean an end to the fun. In fact, West Michigan is just getting started with plenty of awesome events to check out as we head into February.

Here is a look at what you can do the weekend of Jan. 31:

Michigan International Auto Show

The fun actually kicks off on Thursday as the Michigan International Auto Show returns to DeVos Place for another year.

The newest vehicles and automotive technology will all be on display for you to check out and possibly purchase. You may even see some of your favorite News 8 faces!

Grand Rapids Home Show

Head on down to the Woodland Mall starting this Friday for the Grand Rapids Home Show.

The three-day event gives guests the chance to find their next home improvement project, from new windows and doors to patio enclosures and solar panels.

Rise, Griffins in action this weekend

Sports fans are in for a treat this weekend as there are multiple chances to see your local teams in action at Van Andel Arena.

The Grand Rapids Griffins will host the Colorado Eagles for two games Saturday and Sunday, and the Grand Rapids Rise will take on the San Diego Mojo Sunday.

Winter’s a DRAG

One of the fiercest events part of this year’s World of Winter is taking place at Calder Plaza this Saturday.

Winter’s a DRAG is the drag extravaganza and will feature a drag brunch as well as an appearance and performance from the winner of season 11 of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Yvie Oddly.

Couple Shuffle in Zeeland

If you’re looking to move a little this weekend, then head down to Zeeland for the annual Couple Shuffle, a Valentine’s Day-inspired race.

Is there anything more romantic than a 5K? Yes, a 10K! Both options, as well as a 2-mile run, are available to participate in at Helder Park this Sunday.

Ice, Wine, Beer and Blues in Marshall

This weekend in Marshall won’t give you the blues or anything to “wine” about.

Ice, Wine, Beer and Blues is a two-day event starting on Friday, which gives attendees a place to try out different wines and beers from local spots while also enjoying live ice sculpting and a blues concert featuring Sharrie Williams and the Harddivin’ Machine.

St. Joe Winter Beer Fest & Chili Tour

Two big events are coming to St. Joseph this weekend that will be sure to warm you up in more ways than one.

On Friday, take a ride on the Chili Tour and taste the creations of several local cooks. Then on Saturday, take part in this year’s Winter Beer Fest.

If you like ice sculpting, cardboard sled rides, chili cook-offs or just being in South Haven in February, then this event is for you.

The annual Ice Breaker festival returns from Friday through Sunday and gives you and the whole family tons to see and do this weekend.

CineCase 2025

Friday and Saturday will be all about the movies down in Kalamazoo as CineCase 2025 comes to town.

The event is a film and arts festival that includes two days’ worth of artists highlighting their different works.

Kalamazoo Bourbon Fest

The fourth annual Kalamazoo Bourbon Fest returns this Saturday at the Delta Hotels Conference Center.

There will be over 100 different whiskeys, cocktails, beers and wines to sample and maybe even take home with you.
